Before you invite someone
Sharing is a Pro feature and uses iCloud. The owner needs a recovery phrase configured for that vault. Verify that the app reports an available cloud connection before creating an invitation.
Create and send an invitation
Open Settings, then Share this vault and Invite someone. Hidy creates an invitation phrase. Send that phrase through a private channel to the intended recipient. Do not publish it in a support ticket or a screenshot.

Join on the other device
The recipient chooses Join a shared vault on the lock screen and enters the invitation phrase. An invitation phrase is different from the vault's recovery phrase. Invitations expire after 48 hours.
Changes are not always instant
Cloud availability and connectivity affect when updates reach the other device. Check the app's sharing status and allow the cloud service to finish processing changes. Avoid treating a delayed update as permission to reset or delete a vault.
When you stop sharing
The owner can revoke access. After removal completes, the recipient stops receiving shared updates but keeps their local copy. Previously exported files remain outside your control. Revocation is not remote deletion.
